"I couldn't sleep at all last night..."

batskeetsWell, except that I did. Last night was one of my better nights for sleep--I conked out somewhere between 3:30 and 4a without even realizing it, and slept straight through until almost 1p. Niiiice. :D
Last night cheered me up quite a bit, ultimately--the kids next door +![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rkelly dropped in on us, offering food and and a Mel Brooks movie night. Apparently, there's a big list of classically funny movies that Ran needs to watch, so that was going to be the first dent in them. :) So we watched my copy of Spaceballs and had some dinner, and sat around afterwards talking RPs and general wackiness.
Also, I'm having little freelance projects sent my way all of a sudden, which is nice. :)meredithcecile had her dad e-mail me about doing some web maintenance for him, and my dad has a friend who wants to sell an electronic book through a web site. And I think there's another that I'm forgetting, but needless to say, having such opportunities, especially at this point in time, is a very good thing.
I also applied for a Level 1 Web Dev position with Volt in Portland, which is a more permanent position, so maybe that will pan out. :)
I got my errands done, so I'm going to tidy up some parts of the house, now. ::poof::
