batskeetsEp 19 was really sad, like three-kleenex-salute sad. ::bawl:: I think I need a break.
1. How many times have you truly been in love? Bollocks. I've thought so several times, but it's hard to tell when you're in the midst of it, and it's easy to look back on it after the fact and change your opinion of the situation. There are a lot of different kinds of love, and there have been several people that I've had a really strong affection for, and whom I cared about very much. But I think there's only one love that I can safely call Real.
2. What was/is so great about the person you love(d) the most? LOL, where do I start? Well, he's terribly intelligent and he's lovely to look at. He's sentimental and always considerate and he makes me laugh. He's one of the most giving people I have ever met, and he does his best to take good care of everyone around him. The people he loves, he loves fiercely and unwaveringly. He sees things differently than other people, and sees past what's on the surface. And he has a lot more strength and courage than I think anyone will ever realize.
3. What qualities should a significant other have? Well, whatever matches well with you, I suppose. However, I think every S.O. needs a willingness to be honest with the other person, and to give back as much as they get. Personally, I appreciate those who have a big heart and an open mind, and who can be both silly and serious.
4. Have you ever broken someone's heart? Erm, I guess I don't have any verbal confirmation or anything, but I think it's safe to say that I have at least once. I certainly wasn't happy about having done so.
5. If there was one thing you could teach people about love, what would it be? Definitely that it's hard. Most things that are worth having are difficult at some point. It's not always going to be perfect, and it's not always going to be exactly what you predicted. But if it's really worth having that person in your life, then you'll deal with the hard parts. It's wonderful if you just give it the chance.

I'm really, ridiculously tired, but it seems wrong to conk out so early on a Friday night. Eh, I'll figure something out.
