You're an Artist...?

batskeetsDamnit, if I put an artist's statement in my portfolio, does that make me an artist?
Cos, y'know, I'm a designer. As in, "A Designer, Not An Artist."
(Hey, all those Artist types make the distinction, so I might as well. Wouldn't want to be mistaken for one of them, after all. ^_-)
But leaving it out is probably not the best idea, either.
Bollocks. It'd have been easier to deal with this Real Job™ thing if I'd just stuck with Computer Science. A resume is cake compared to a full-blown interactive portfolio. :p
