Would somebody please tell me who in the bejeezus Linkin Park is?! I've noticed a lot of people on my Friends page listening to them lately, but they seem suspiciously trendy and empty-headed. But if I'm wrong, do call me on it.

It has been a pretty standard day. I got virtually nothing done though, once I got off of work and did my errands. And that's... kind of a problem. I have a lot to do before Monday, and not much time to do it.

Bleh. Sunday is going to SUCK.

they're band in that whole hard rock/metal/rap fusion genre. the reason they are so popular is because they're very very catchy, and actually pretty good. and you won't hear me say that about many (if any) other bands in that genre.

They are a hyped-up pop culture clone of the "heavy metal/DJ" genre created by large corporations to sound like everybody else so you will buy their album in a desperate attempt to force you not to download all their mp3s because their music is so bad its not even worth the hand motion to pull out 20 bucks from your pocket to buy the damn thing.

I don't know Dave kind of likes them and has one of their CD's that he never ever listens to. I think they might have one song that doesn't annoy every fiber in my being but I can't think of it

They suck ... they're all poppy and trendy, and they scream far too much. And their music sounds like feedback. Download an mp3 or two, and you will realize the horror.
