batskeetsI am wearing my Duo costume, shoes and all, and deciding if I need to make any alterations... I'm gonna get an extra strip of fabric tomorrow to go around the waist, and hopefully I can make it work with some elastic and whatnot. I can kind of make it look right already with one of my extra scraps. The arms seem pretty huge too, but I can't quite pin down if it's because they're too long, or too big around, or (most likely) a little of both. Still, I'm happy with it. It's gonna rock! And it's comfy too. :D
I also halfway solved the shirt problem too, since I found a white mock-neck tank top in my dresser. There aren't any sleeves, which sucks, but the collar looks *perfect*. I may just stitch some white on the sleeves to make it look like there's another shirt underneath. The odds of me finding exactly the shirt I'd want to make this costume look decent are slim, anyway.
I think I may be able to dig up enough money to buy a Heero-esque tank top for James, or at least materials with which to make one, so that solves that problem. I still need to figure out what old pair of jeans would be best to sacrifice for the Heero Shorts Project.
