I can bowl again! :O
Sep. 29th, 2001 03:38 amSo part of our evening was (cosmic) bowling. I won the first game by like 20 pins, and in the second one I rolled a 148, which beats my previous best of 142. I was all worried because I did *terribly* the last time we went bowling, but today it was all me, j0! Awww yea. ::grooves::
Prior to that, there was dinner at Misako! I had Katsu Don this time (I dunno why, I just enjoy rice bowls more than ramen) and after looking at the menu, I determined that they had Yebisu by the bottle. YEBISU. As in the kind of beer that Misato drinks every morning in order to, uh, "wake herself up." LMAO! So then, I decided that I just *had* to order one, because I'm a dork. :D The thing is, it's actually pretty decent, and I don't especially like most beer, so that's saying a *lot*.
Between the dinner and the bowling, there was a trip to Wunderland, to kill some time until Cosmic Bowling started. And the Bemani machine was working! This thing is *insane*. There are these five buttons you're supposed to press in certain sequences in rhythm with the song, and there's this little disc thingy that you can "scratch" like a DJ scratches on the turntable. Kinda like Parappa the Rapper, except less funny. I soon discovered that I sucked at it, mostly because if you pass the first couple of songs, they don't let you do easy ones anymore! Methinks the learning curve is a bit off thar.
Anyways, we're supposed to be going to the coast tomorrow before Claydonia, so I need my sleepies. G'night!
