Yes, it's a weekend, and yet I woke up *before* noon. You may all die of shock now.
So last night was supposed to be CorySteak night but I guess he like disappeared or something in the middle because everyone wanted to go and was wigging about how we wouldn't make it in time for the 9:40 American Pie 2 showing if we waited :p If James had been cooking, I would have totally bought that because every meal with James is a big production, but Cory is not so grandiose in his food/mess making, so I doubt it would have taken nearly as long. ::sigh:: I guess I'm just being a poo and complaining because I requested that those steaks be made and then didn't get to eat them... but at least Cory saved one each for myself and James, so I guess the leftover version is okay too.
Anyhoo, everyone decided to go to Shari's for dinner instead. The good thing about leaving early was that we ran into Avery, Steely!Dan, and Sarah on their way out, so they came with us. They had to go see a different movie though, because we had bought tix earlier, and they were all sold out by the time we got there after dinner.
Anyhoo, yeah, the movie was fun. Certainly not Oscar-calibre, change-my-world-view quality, but I didn't expect that from it. It was what I expected it to be though, so it was all good.
Anyhoo, yeah, I'm going to start my day now. AREN'T YOU HAPPY?!! ::rotfl::
