2 hours down, 7 to go...

Got through class... drew a pretty nice tree. I didn't have time to render the cracks in the bark and such, but the shape and dimension of the tree was berry nice. It looks like the actual tree, but with smoother bark. (the prof keeps talking about how much she likes the "soft touch" in my work, and how it reminds her of some of the masters' work. Hee! :D)

ALYSON! Do I have a quilt square yet? ^_-

Anyhoo, back to work I guess. :p

I remember, once upon a time, in my AP English class the teacher had us draw trees. It was senior skip day and the whole class was seniors, so those of us who actually came to school had a pretty lax day.

Yes, I never skipped class in High School, even senior skip day. School is school damn it, you don't miss it unless you're sick enough to die. Like I said before, I was more responsible at 18 and 19 than I am at 22. Damn temptations...

LOL, I didn't skip in high school either... the worst thing I ever skipped was probably one of those stupid pep rallies. :D In the case of the Star Wars re-releases, I always got to go on opening night, because there were other people who were happy to skip class all day and buy tickets *for* me. Haw!

I don't think a senior skip day every got organized when *I* was a senior... I'd hear it was planned for a certain day, and then the teachers would find out soon after, and make arrangements so that actually skipping on senior skip day would spell doom for our grades. Go figure. ;p
