Okay, now I know I've had a (minor) hand in sucking quite a few people onto the LJ bandwagon, and you gotta agree, it's a faboo service and a great way to keep up with your friends. :) It far outshines Blogger and other web log services in its full-featured-ness and its sense of community.

Soooo, if you agree with me, or just enjoy having LiveJournal in your life, then go vote for LJ to win a Webby award! Read more about it here.

Now that I'm done PSAing, I'm going to finish eating lunch and go to work.

Well, I use both blogger and Livejournal (for different specific purposes), so I have a good idea of just what the differences are. Blogger is bad because you can't reply to posts like this, unless you make a team blog, and even then it's not the same thing. Livejournal is bad because you have to PAY to really customize it (which I find annoying). I also kind of think you have to be a little more computer literate to use blogger (even though they claim it's the opposite); whether that's good or bad is up to you. So what your weblog will be used for really determines which one you should use.

In fairness, I'm told that LJ is working on a new style system, and once it's in place, embedding and such will be free too. :)
