Ain't dat da bidness?
Apr. 7th, 2001 04:32 amBidness-- er, business as usual, I'm up rather late on a Friday night. I don't know what it is, but no matter how early I get up on any given weekend, I'm always wide awake until some ungodly hour of the night. Today I was up at 8am. I should be tired, right?!
I'm jazzed about being accepted into Multimedia. I've been looking over the Summer Course offerings again, and now that I'm accepted, there's a lot more that I can take that's relevant to my degree! ::bouncebounce:: I'm thinking that, time and resouces permitting, I'll knock off 8 credits of required coursework (which will make up for the classes I couldn't get into this term) and cram in some extra work hours, and save up some rainy day money.
More good news: I snagged an off-campus web site project that is supposed to start this summer. (thanks Dynee!) As I understand it, not only will I get to work for them at my own convenience, but I'd also get paid more per hour than I do at Journalism. Not that I'd quit the J-school, though, because my job there does feel a lot more stable than the off-campus one, and I probably won't get many other opportunities to work on a site that's as extensive and well-developed as the J-school's. But the new job will definitely be good for the saving of money, and it'll beef up the ol' resume too. Things are definitely looking up. :D
I think I'm going to try to get some sleep now, even though I know I'll probably fail. SIGH. I suppose if all else fails I could kill some more Art History reading.

I'm glad :-)
