Late-night workouts rawk.
Mar. 23rd, 2001 01:40 amI just tried my new Pilates tape about an hour ago... I would've done it sooner, but people came over, and they were watching movies on the TV, and I wanted to watch too, and blah blah blah. Pilates is cool, though. My abs are all tingly. :D I really hope it does help improve my posture in the near-ish future... it'd be nice to be able to sit in front of the comp for hours at work or at home without getting neck soreness and tension like I do right now.
I must now spout off about the joys of working out at night. Some of the best times I've ever had running were when I just got out of my computer chair and went on a run at midnight. (That being back when I was crazy enough to choose running as my workout of choice, of course-- I've since concluded that my bod likes other workout options much better) It's such a nice, quiet time, where you can just focus on yourself and what you're doing, rather than worrying about who might happen by, or what might get in the way, or who might be looking over at you from their treadmill and thinking that you're an out-of-shape pansy.
I might go to bed, but I might not. I can't think of anything I particularly want to do right now. What I'd really like to do is hang out with some friends right about now, but everyone I know has an exam tomorrow or a project to finish. SIGH.
