Concert went well. We were good, the guys were good too, all cool. :D Lesa really did a bang-up job with us this term. I am looking forward to the next! As for now... no more choir classes for the rest of the term, since we have nothing to rehearse, now that the concert's over.
Had dinner at Lyon's afterwards with James, Dan, Aleisha, and Amber, and that was fun, and food was tasty. I had a Chicken and Swiss something-or-other. Wheee!
After that we watched Buffy, which was *excellent*. The lack of musical score actually made the circumstances of Joyce's death even more intense. It seemed a lot more real, and not as soapy and melodramatic as it could have been.
AND, I have to comment on this: everyone seemed to think that the vampire popping up at the end of the episode was totally arbitrary and contrived, but I don't exactly feel that way about it. I took it as more of a reminder to Buffy (and for us too in a way) that no matter what happens to her or how much she may change, she will eventually have to resume being the Slayer. Even something as tragic as your own mother's death can't erase the inevitability of Slayerness.
And HA! Didn't I say last week that there was no way in hell that Angel would turn evil after doing the horizontal mambo with Darla? Well, darned if I wasn't right. And it is very nice to see him back on the side of good again. W00t!
Bedtime for me. I think I'm sleeping in tomorrow for sake of my own sanity.
