I like swords.

I don't think I mentioned it, but we wound up having to do a third hair salon shoot, because the hairstyling competition required three different entries. I cranked this out pretty quickly the other day, and let me tell you, I was *worried*. I had less than a week to find makeup and wardrobe, and I had only the vaguest of concepts.

I also found out that the hair model was, to my surprise, a size 10/12. Designers were a no-go, because their samples would be XS/S, so we put her in a dress of mine that I haven't even worn yet. XD She's one of those tall, broad-shouldered ladies, so she certainly didn't *look* big enough to wear my clothes, but she was! And I actually love the edit, now that I've done it:

In other news, I just got a message today that was sent to me last August--w00t for ignoring extraneous social networking accounts--and it said that I'm apparently on page 22 of this book! I hope I can track it down at Powell's or something and get a look at it. I also hope they chose one of my broadsword pictures for the book, because I <3 my broadsword. More people need to know about wushu weapons, anyway!
