And the randomness just keeps coming!
The Job is sending me to the Dirty South! :O And this will be April 8th-11th, which is basically right after I get back from Berkeley. I've spent most of my afternoon in meetings to plan this thing, and the rest has been about filling out all these crazy forms for travel requests and so forth, so it's quite the big to-do.
Saturday was drag shoot fun. I wish I hadn't been so tired and stressed out in the weeks leading up to it, but it still went well, people had fun, and great shots were captured. :) Definitely much more fun than our usual paying gigs!
The weather was crap yesterday, so we opted for indoor entertainment in the form of ice skating. One of the folks from the Cirque promo met us there, and he's actually a pretty awesome figure skater, so he tried to teach us some tricks! I fell down a few times, of course, but I'm amazed I didn't fall more than that considering the stuff we were trying to do. :)
Today we're hosting the photographer happy hour for a local group of photographers we get together with once a month. Unfortunately, it completely sneaked up on me, so I'm largely unprepared and didn't get to do anything fun for it, in the realm of baking or snack-making. Well, hopefully people will still enjoy.
