On my way in to work today, I saw a jogger whose running form looked like what would happen if Peg Bundy decided to train for a marathon. She was literally running with her hands waving around like that! Soooo wrong.

This looks like it's an older writing of Ron Paul's, but it's a stance that I've supported for a while now: The Case for Drug Legalization. (you have to scroll down a bit) Abuse and overuse of ANY substance will negatively affect a person... the problem often isn't really the substance itself, it's the fact that a person feels compelled to abuse it, to the point that it becomes harmful.

I certainly don't advocate substance abuse. I haaaate tobacco smoking, and I'm at most a social drinker. But, if people want to be morons and kill themselves slowly with toxic chemicals, I figure that's their business. I'd rather not encourage abusers *or* the government to violate my way of life in the name of continuing or fighting drug abuse.

Anyhoo, I am tuckered out from writing client proposals and such, so I haven't felt much like posting. [livejournal.com profile] nidaba and [livejournal.com profile] gmendel are getting some folks together to play games later, so that's going to be part of my evening.

What am I doing tomorrow? Well, among other things, I get to stick a 5'11" blonde swimsuit model in a trash can. Bwaaahaha! I love my work.
