Well, one of my lesser problems is solved: I've found myself a freelance HTML/CSS coder who completely ROCKS. Granted, it was an easy coding task, but he cranked it out in no time, with a turnaround of less than 24 hours. And he even wrote the code such that it works in OPERA. XD I don't think I even know anybody who *uses* Opera, much less codes for it!
So, yeah, I think this guy will come in handy further down the line. :) That still doesn't help with The Neverending Project I mentioned yesterday, but damn, I am pleased nonetheless. I feel like I can actually chase down more projects, and not have them eat my entire personal life.
Andy's comedy gig last night was part of a poetry slam sort of thing at a bar downtown. I was expecting the poetry part to suck--which, yeah, some of the poetry was cringe-inducing--but I actually enjoyed some of it. They had a 3-piece band on stage with the poets, and after each poet read the first couple lines of their piece, the band would come up with music on the fly to go with it! It was pretty impressive.
Weekend is going to be NUTS. Apparently, the Saturday wedding is out near Seaside! Vaguely annoying, because of the extra driving, but also kind of cool, because I haven't been to Seaside in forever. Either way, it should go smooth. :)
