Man, the whole internets has been against me over the past 48 hours. Crappy wi-fi access, slow Aperture server, broken e-mail forwarding... the list goes on.
Oh yeah, and I have a freelance project that has been dragging on for-EVER, due to grunt work that I really don't have the time or inclination to deal with. I'm had marginal luck at getting others to do some of it, but it's still not done. I may *have* to finish it myself, though, at the rate that things are going, which sounds like a real waste of my time and skills, but what can you do, right?
And I have these two gigantosaur sores on the inside of my lip that refuse to heal up. I'm sure you didn't need to know that, but it's impairing my ability to eat and to give smooches, and it stings like hell when I drink my coffee or tea. Anything that gets in the way of my food enjoyment is FIRED.
But, on a more positive note, I may actually wrap up one of my freelance projects reallysoon (thank jeebus), and I have a fun logo project to put my attention towards next. And we just booked another wedding in October. And we'll be seeing Andy do another comedy show tonight. And we may be seeing a probably-good documentary and pimping Ron Paul's campaign tomorrow night.
And I'll be doing a really fun action shoot on Saturday morning, where I'll get to jump around and at least pretend that I have mad wushu hops. And we'll be shooting two weddings this weekend, for fun and profit. ...um, what was I complaining for, again?
Yeah, so I need to work on letting go of the small stuff... even if the small things are precisely the things that keep popping up every 2 minutes and reminding you that yes, they are still there, and yes, they are still annoying.
