Saturday, what a day ;p
Sep. 2nd, 2006 12:40 pmSo, yeah. I'm at work. ;p Lucky me!
Random annoyance: when eating out, a bowl of soup is usually too much, but a cup of soup is not enough. It seems like it's always a choice between a tiny cup, or a mammoth bowl that could double as a swimming pool. ;p There needs to be a middle size, or at least a bowl that isn't so ridiculously huge.
I don't think I've really mentioned it before, but I fear that I might have to quit running. I've noticed in recent weeks that my knees seem crankier than before... it seems kind of silly, because wushu is notorious for destroying the knees of athletes everywhere, but I've been doing it for 2.5 years and experienced nothing worse than some quad tendinitis. I take up running for a month or two, and suddenly, knee pains start creeping up where they've never been before. I know, I know, running is rough on the joints, too, but is it really *that* much worse than wushu?
Well, anyway, the jury's still out on the running thing, seeing as I went running last night. ;p My shoulder cramped up like crazy--again with the cramping, jeesh--but it was worth it.
In other news, Mitch and his bike obsession kick ass. I opened the garage to get my bike out before work today, and he'd installed hooks and hung up all of our bikes. I was expecting to have to pull out 5 other bikes in order to get to mine, so that was a nice surprise.
I also have to give a shout out to one of my co-workers, who is way too nice and stealthily bought us lunch yesterday. He's always doing stuff like that; I probably owe him like 10 beers already. I must plot as to how I will eventually repay this debt, muahaha. :)
Wow, somebody else actually came into the office today. I'm a little shocked, heh. Anyway, I'm off.
