drive-by

I tossed up the first few edits from last Sunday on Flickr. I still have yet more to look through and edit... that's a good thing, though!

I am feeling decidedly blah about... well, something. Couldn't tell you exactly what, because life has been generally good. I've been pretty productive, things have been going well on my various endeavors outside of the day job. Things are still excellent with Ben. I haven't seen nearly as much of my friends as I'd like, but I think many of y'all are as busy as I am, as of late. I've had some fun times with comrades from the office, at least. Training is on the upswing now that I'm healed up, and I have grand, evil plans for the wushu team come fall term.

So, I guess I don't really have much to complain about... well, I guess there's the fact that I'm broke as a friggin' joke, but I'm getting by pretty well in spite of that. My best guess is that I'm approaching burnout, but I'm still feeling *very* creative and motivated, so I don't think that's quite accurate. It's mainly the lather-rinse-repeat of work that's getting to me; the photo editing has been fun, but the day job and the little computery side projects are wearing me down. More than anything, I think I'm just getting tired of staring at a screen for so many hours of the day. :p

I am *definitely* looking forward to shooting this afternoon/evening, though! Getting out towards the coast and shooting at those cool outdoor locations will definitely be a much-needed change of pace. And being in front of the camera, rather than behind it, means that I won't be adding more work to my queue. :)

There's talk of a camping trip in September, too, which sounds awesome. Hopefully we'll pick a good location and it won't be too cold by then, so I can go swimming!

Anyhoo, back to work with me! ::poof::
