Yet another misfire

So, I got off the phone a little while ago, after talking to the designer whom I'm walking for in the show, and whose line I was supposed to be wearing in the photoshoot a couple hours from now... and my outfit isn't ready. -_-; There's another piece for a different model who might be close to my size, but I think I was the smallest out of my group by a significant enough margin that it wouldn't have fit, and if the clothes don't fit, then you don't get to shoot anyway, so... I don't think I'm quite up for blowing a tank of gas when there's no guarantee that I'd get to shoot.

On the plus side, at least I found out *before* I drove the 100 miles to get up there, but can we say argh? I think I'm the only model in my group that was even going to show up for the shoot, so nobody's even going to be there to represent the bigger girls, which really sucks. Maybe if I wasn't so strapped for cash right now, I'd have gone, but things being as they are, it's better if I don't.

SO! Since I am not going to be all exhausted from driving to Portland and shooting all afternoon/evening, I propose: KARAOKE. Takers?

In the meantime, there's unpacking and organizing and other annoying stuff to be done, so I'm off.
