"Good grammar costs nothing!"
Mar. 1st, 2006 03:33 pmI am officially in love with this T-shirt. Unfortunately, I'm not sure that my grammar is quite good enough for me to pull it off. XD Still, so funny!
Yeah, I am a few days late saying so, but I'm sad about Don Knotts. I never watched the Andy Griffith Show--no, I'm not *that* old--but I remember being a small child and watching him biff around with his buggy-eyed expression and his colorful ascot, squabbling with those crazy kids on Three's Company.
Pardon the moment of real seriousness: ( Pro-choice FTW )
Anyhoo, I went to extra practice last night, and spent most of it working on my effing butterfly. I think I have it figured out, conceptually, but my back is refusing to flex as far as it should when I'm in the air.YAY. I'm not sure what kind of muscles I'd need in my back to lift my incredibly bulky lower half any higher, but I sure as hell don't have 'em. (yet) I'm so glad I'm not competing this weekend, because I wouldn't feel prepared.
We still don't have an after-party venue, and the bloody thing is supposed to happen on Saturday night. WTF? I briefly considered asking the Shack folk, since they're the only people I know with a house, but then I remember what the after-parties have been like in previous years, and... well, let's just say that I don't think they want 100+ drunk wushu kids descending upon their place. ::rotfl:: I have no other hookups, so hopefully *somebody* will pull something out of his or her ass.
Computer still broken, mostly because I have no time to work on it. Grar. I hope to dink around with the hardware this evening, but I probably won't have time.
Sorry if I'm boring this week, I have no energy for anything else.
