I'm going to pimp this again, because the site was down all weekend, and now it's back up: Johari window for me! Fill it out, if you haven't. :) Also, to be fair, here's the reverse of that: the Nohari window.
Also: somebody has way too much time on their hands, but... hee! Chewy's Blog.
The weekend was a whirlwind, but in a good way. Wushu demo on Saturday was something of a trial: the stage was TINY. I know I say this every time, but this was the smallest yet. It was maybe half the size of the ballroom stage at UO or OSU, and it hadn't been swept in a while, so it was tiny *and* slippery. Somehow, we pulled it off, but I'm amazed that we all avoided crashing into any of the decorative stuff lurking in the sidestage.
The party on Saturday night was insanity. ( Antics and Al-key-hol )
Yesterday was nice and low-key. We ran UBRS, which was disappointing for me, because we kept getting Shammy gear for drops. The run itself was pretty smooth, though--we're planning to run 20-man ZG next weekend, w00t!--and we had a moment of silliness and zoned into Blackwing Lair after clearing UBRS, just to look around! One of the guards inside of BWL killed me in like two hits. XD It was pretty hilarious. After that, Jen, our former WoW guildie, came down to visit, and the lot of us went to dinner at the Olive Garden, and had a fun dinner.
I ran across a new slang word recently that I, as a designer, am totally in love with: Flashturbation! It is what it sounds like: use of Flash animations and features in a way that seems completely gratuitous, and often obfuscates the user's viewing experience. To use it in a sentence: "Whenever I look at the the Digital Arts program website, I am rendered speechless by the sheer Flashturbation on display there." ::rotfl::
Yeah, I have a few residual issues about impractical uses of Flash on the web. But you probably knew that already. ;p
One more link, because I'm way behind the rest of the world on this: The Chronic--WHAT!--cles of Nar-ni-a! (yeah, it's old, but I don't watch SNL ;p)
Damnit, now I want cupcakes. XD Tally ho!
