"PIZZA IS NOT FOR BREAKFAST!!"
Jun. 29th, 2005 03:20 pmDude, it isn't. Even if it's cold, Pizza ain't Breakfast, in much the same way that Ice Cream is not Dinner. Of course, if you sleep in long enough, then it'll be lunch time, and you can start your day off with some pizza by completely going around the whole breakfast thing.
I'm not sure if Pizza is for Brunch, though. I'm inclined to say no, but I'm sure there are family buffets across the country that are inclined to disagree.
Anyway, enough with the random tangent. This weekend: PAID HOLIDAY, BITCHES!! :D
Well, that could be good or bad. In all honestly, I haven't the foggiest idea as to what I'll be doing. Not that this is necessarily a bad thing--I usually tend to play it by ear anyway--but it could get rather dull if everyone goes to visit with their families. Most of my friends have family within an hour or two's drive of here. My family? That would be 12 hours in the car. Not that I particularly mind long drives, but it doesn't make much sense to take a weekend trip when the drive to and from will take 24 hours by itself. Sigh. :p
Anyway, yeah, if anyone's doing anything spiffy and not-exclusively-family, I might be up for that.
I need to figure out when would be a good time to burn up some vacation time. I was originally thinking August, but with various release dates and deadlines getting moved around, August is looking less good. Sigh, that's how it goes.
Yesterday, I encountered some kids--"kids" meaning people who are fairly early into their college years--outside my old building who asked me if I was a neighbor. A couple of sentences into this brief exchange, one of them asked if I was a Law Student. HAW! I wonder what prompted that assumption. Do I seem that much older? (because I heard that some folks at work estimated me to be a couple years younger than I am) Or, do I seem like a Law sort of person? (because I'm totally not)
