For some reason, this cracked me up: Scream, kids!
To start off the new Pile of Bathroom Reading, I bought a particularly amusing-looking issue of The Sun tabloid at the store yesterday. It's one of those Nostradamus issues, and also includes, "Hero Cat saves family from deadly fire" or something like that. LOL! Tabloids are so hilariously retarded, sometimes.
The house is really coming together!! I spent most of my Sunday organizing stuff, because lordy, it is good to have a system. I'm still staggered by the number of cabinets and drawers that we have in our place. :D The real winner, however, is the storage room. It's not huge, but it's so great to have a place where I can put boxes and other seldom-used things, and keep them out of my face.
I stopped at Macy's over the weekend, because I heard rumor of a mattress sale... but, apparently, the Macy's here in town doesn't carry mattresses. I must admit that I got a bit distracted while I was there, though, and wound up picking out a couple of new shirts at the mall. On sale, of course. It has been a *long* time since I've done that, and I didn't see very many things that I liked, but there were some really interesting necklines on a couple things.
And since we are on the topic of fashion: this season's color palette? UH-GLEE. Or at the very least, ugly as sin when paired with my hapa skintone, heh. The screaming brights and neon-ish shades are not so great on me. It's kind of a tough call, sometimes, because there are colors I'd enjoy wearing, but they would probably make me look nasty. It's hard telling for sure whether it's good or bad, when I really like it, and objectivity has been subsequently thrown out the window. :) Maybe I should drag somebody along with me next time.
In WoW news, Fizzywig is making steady progress, and is 2/3rds of the way to lv. 44. I also started a Troll Shaman, by name of Kehleyr. (yes, the Klingon-ish name was intentional--the hair style I settled on said "Klingon" to me, for some reason), and OMFG Shamans are the bee's knees. I also played with my moocow Druid for a little bit, while the main server was down. I think I like the Shammy better. ^^;
