I tried my first "spinning" class ever yesterday, mostly because I was feeling unmotivated and I knew I wouldn't make it past half an hour on the cardio without someone else cracking the whip periodically. It was pretty okay. It aggravated my knees a little more than I'd have liked when we did the out-of-seat segments, but man, I haven't experienced such profuse sweating in quite a while, so it was definitely a good workout.
The only problem is that now my butt hurts a *lot*, and not even in that muscle-achey sort of way. I don't know what it is about the seat of a stationary bike, but whenever I spend any extended period of time sitting on one, it hurts my butt to the point of it feeling bruised. It's only the stationary bikes, too, because I never had this problem with my mountain bike. Maybe I'm just too bootylicious for stationary bikes, haha. :D

Weekend is looking marginally less poop, at the moment--I'll probably have to pop in on Sunday to handle any late-breaking nastiness. No word on Saturday, though, so maybe, just maybe, I'll have a day of my own. W00t!
Also, it is Payday Friday! Which means that after work, we are going to go get a motherboard whose sound driver doesn't break Windoze. Huzzah!
Also, my darling Amer is a winner and got into law school! Yaaaayyyyy!
