OH NOOOOO

Jul. 20th, 2004 07:42 am
Bollocks, I missed another weekday! This posting during the day thing isn't working out so great. :(

You must admit, the statements about Spider-Man films in this interview with Kirsten Dunst are pretty nightmarish. It is *never* a good thing to bring in the annoying child spawn of the hero for a sequel. But, I don't know what everyone is so worried about. Think about it: if they killed off superheroes every time the actors wanted to jump ship, then they'd have killed off Batman, what, four times by now?

Anyway, I met with my trainer today, and then it was pretty much non-stop errands, cooking, cleaning, blah. I wasn't really feeling up to it, either, because I had a splitting headache. Sigh. I have an interview tomorrow, I think--I got a message offering me a morning interview time, and I said that was fine, but they haven't told me where to go, or told me anything about it since. Blar. I'm not sure what to expect.

I had other thoughts earlier, but now they're escaping me. BOO.

some What People Think of Your LJ randomizer thing )

Maya, I never knew!! :O

I guess I'm off for now. I have Naruto episodes to catch up on!
Man, I'm starting to wish I hadn't posted this meme, because it's saying that I want to get in like 80 people's pants! Well, okay, not *that* many, but a majority of the people on my list who posted it are getting that result. When did I suddenly turn into LJ's biggest slut-ho? ::rotfl::

Anyhoo, I got this e-mail in my Yahoo! account from the MoveOn mailing list, talking about *yet* another bill that hopes to put the shaft to gay couples. The e-mail also urged me to call or write to Peter DeFazio urging him not to vote for it, because he was supposedly a "key swing vote." Of course, my first thought was, "psssh, as if DeFazio would *ever* vote for that bill." I didn't figure there was any need to harass the man about a bill that he would already be set against, so I didn't do anything.

And wouldn't you know? I was right. Snippet from an e-mail that came in later:

Earlier today, we misidentified your Representative, Peter A. DeFazio,
as a swing vote on the divisive Marriage Protection Act.

Oops.

Rep. DeFazio actually opposes this bad bill and intends to vote against
it this Thursday.

Yeah, NO KIDDING. I just wonder how many other random sheep contacted DeFazio today, freaking out about this bill. Anyone with even a glimmer of knowledge about his political beliefs should know that he'd be firmly against it. :p

That is all... for now. :O!!!
