Holy crap!! I won a free t-shirt! It was from one of those online merchants that puts you into a drawing if you join their mailing list, and you join, fully not expecting to win anything. :p Which one do you think I should get? I'm currently leaning towards the lotus or the phoenix tee, as of now...

And in other news, I'm in the June issue of Wired! And no, sadly, it is not for being the next up-and-coming internet entrepreneuse. :) It is because [livejournal.com profile] pfarley is a Real Artist who gets paid Real Money by Real Publications for his illustrations (in other words, nothing at all like me ;p), and he used me as a background person. So, if you get a chance, take a gander at pg. 54 and see if you can spot me! Note that I'll be minus my glasses, and my birthmark isn't showing, so it might be something of a challenge, but y'all are smart kids, so I have faith. :)

There's also a sizeable article about My Culinary Hero Mr. Alton Brown further on in the issue, so look at that, too.

Oh yeah, and I had a bubble tea today, so I'm now 1/3rd of the way to a free bubble tea on my club card. Talk about a good start to your day, na?

I am thinking that it's time for me to apply for a new credit card. My old ones have been long-expired, and I've been kind of avoiding getting another one, because it seems like it'd be inviting the devil in. But, I think I've gotten so used to not having and/or not using credit cards that it won't be too hard to go on not using a new one. And, it would be good for the credit rating to have a credit card that is always carrying little or no balance, so it's something to think about.

Anyhoo, my brain is bubbling over with ideas for freelance stuff, so I'm going to get that down before it all flies out of my head again. :)
