So, big news: My dearest Amer graduated!! I'M SO PROUD OF YOU ;_;
I didn't get enough sleep before dragging myself out of bed for the rehearsal, and when I got down there, *nobody was around*. So, with the rehearsal attempt a bust, I got the car washed, had a bubble tea, and went yarn shopping instead. All the Lion brand yarn was 15% off today! :D I picked up some really cute Homespun, a skein of black chenille, and I shelled out for a hank of Berroco Quest. Definitely won't be getting the Quest often, because it's a bit pricey, but everything else I picked up was on sale, and the Quest was so soft and shiny.
I took a nap after I got home, because at that point, I still had to make it through another 14 hours of consciousness until the end of my shift, and I wound up sleeping through the start of the performance. But, on the flip side, my hip was tweaking out again during practice on Friday, so I probably *did* need the time off. I probably would have put in a lousy showing anyway, because my semi-injured hip has made me so bloody petrified of *seriously* injuring myself. Feh. :p
Question: Anyone have suggestions for a good-but-affordable digital camera? One that's better than the one I have, obviously, because mine is okay, but the picture clarity isn't always great. I'd like something with zoom or maybe even some manual settings... you know, one that would allow me to do some *good* photography, because that would certainly expand the possibilities of what I can do in my work and projects.
Speaking of which, for those who actually give a crap about the magazine, a hopefully temporary change of course is in the works. Going to print is the ultimate goal, but we may find another way to springboard to that phase.
Okay! I'm shutting up now.
