"Sooooo good!"
May. 16th, 2004 06:04 amAnd now, the dumbest thing I have seen this week: Take a Ford Expedition, which is already a vehicle so huge that it offends me. Then, put said vehicle up on gigantic tires, rivaling those used on monster trucks. Yeah, it was pretty stupid to look at.
So, hey, Troy was pretty sweet. To tell the truth, I'd have probably enjoyed it no matter what, because I've always enjoyed Homer's work, but it was as fun and epic as I've been hoping for, and the roles were well-casted and well-acted all around. Whee!
And speaking of Troy, a random note for those who were wondering where they'd seen Hector, before: he was also in Black Hawk Down. Since that movie came up during our discussion in the car, I figure that's where y'all saw him. :)
Anyway! Today was pretty laid-back, but I didn't mind much. We also re-stocked the fridge, and I made my pasta sauce for the first time in a while. Oh yeah, and I played more FFX. Odds of me beating the game this weekend seem slim, but hey, we'll see. (the Chocobo race was addictive, okay? ;p) I've also been enjoying Mr. TiVo--after getting back from the movie last night, I wound up watching 4 episodes of Joan of Arcadia while working on my afghan. ^^;
Tomorrow will be a bit busy--I have a wushu demo to rehearse for and participate in, and I have work to do between rehearsal and performance. Heh. The fun never stops, I tell you.
I need to hit the sack if I hope to be at all functional for the demo, so I'm off.
