Well, today was pretty short--I stayed up until 9am last night, because I had to do a couple of quick errands, and none of them open before 9. :p So, I naturally slept until some insane hour in the afternoon. I didn't sleep too well, because *some* people weren't paying attention to the Do Not Call times! Of course, one of them was my aunt, who didn't really know about my insane schedule, so I guess I can't really blame her. ^^;

I am having second thoughts about the dancing thing later tonight... on the one hand, I still want to go and do it, but on the other hand, it doesn't look like I'll have much of a turnout. Also, I still have to work on Friday morning at like 1am, and although I can probably shift the hours back to 2 or 2:30a, it's probably not the best idea I've ever had, especially if I want to have more than 3 drinks. And, for some reason, I don't feel like I've been very good company lately. The latter issue is probably somewhat irrational on my part, but eh, sometimes my gut is spot on.

So, uh, I don't know. I don't really want the whole occasion to be about me, anyway. I just want to go out and dance every so often, and I never get to do it anymore. Anyhoo, if anything changes, I'll let the few of you who were interested know.

So hey! I got to start learning some nanquan at practice today! :D It was a little hard to get my head into it at first, after 6 months of nothing but changquan, because they're pretty different styles. I'm sure the fact that I forgot to eat lunch today didn't help either. :p But, once I grew more accustomed to it, I had fun with it. I'm sad that I have to miss practice on Friday, because I'm ready to learn more NOW.

Friday evening = me in Portlandia! James is also advising me to not drive up there and back in the same night, and I have strict orders from shannidee to call her while I'm there. :) So, I might stay overnight. We'll see how things pan out. (hopefully junsiew's mom has at least *some* inkling that we'll be showing up)

Saturday = FUN FUN BOWLING AND DINNER TAIMU! At least people are coming out for that, na? :)

Anyhoo, back to reading Jet Li's web site, which makes me feel a bit silly, for some reason, but it's actually kind of interesting. ^^;

No-Go

Beh, that does it: I'm staying home tonight. I woke up feeling queasy today, discovered that I have no money left until tomorrow, and I have a buttload of freelance work to do. Jeez, I'm lame. :p

Saturday is still happening, though, so come along for that! :)

In other news, I keep missing the FedEx guy, because he comes by while I'm asleep. :p I think I'll have to go over there today to get my package, because I'm curious as to what it is--it could be several things, and some of them are quite important.

I'm currently thinking about some of my ongoing projects, and it's definitely time to take some strong strides on at least some of them. I finally looked back at my novel the other day, and I am definitely not loving some of the places I've gone with it. But, on the more positive side, the magazine may have a few different paths I can take. And, I already have a plan for the design business, I just need to clean up my project queue a bit before I put said plan into action.

Oddly enough, once you take out the whole thing of being twisted and homicidal, a most of that stuff is at least semi-true about me. ^^;

Anyway, if I'm going to make it to FedEx by 6p, I'd better get on it.
