Another sleepless night
Apr. 9th, 2004 06:42 amI took a power nap, of sorts, somewhere between 11p and midnight, so I'm not feeling *so* terrible right now. I am working on packing my stuff up, and I think I'm about as done as I'm going to get before doing my morning ritual, so I think I'm going to snag another hour or two of sleep, for posterity.
Blah. I'm more hyped for this tournament than I was for the last one, but I'm less excited about the overall trip than I was last time. Half of me just wants to stay home and relax this weekend, because I've had a terribly busy week. But then, the other half of me would be pretty ticked off at missing the opportunity to compete. And I *am* getting silks when I get there, so that's kind of exciting, too. Hee. :)
Feh. I'm already looking forward to getting home, and I haven't even left yet. How stupid is that?? ^^; Well, I've taken a few measures to ensure that my experience is more enjoyable this time around, *especially* in the realm of food, so hopefully I won't be so wiped out.
I'm bringing Mr. Cell Phone with me again, so you know where to hit me up if you feel like talking. If you happen to be in or near San Fran with nothing to do on Saturday, give me a jingle, and maybe we can figure something out. I might phone post, if the opportunity strikes. Hopefully, I'll take more pictures this time, too.
