Yes, somebody in line at the movie theater recognized my t-shirt! Hee. :D
So,
rantar called me earlier today, and told me that he and the rest of the crew were planning to arrive at the movie theater around 8pm. We all had tickets for the 10:30 show. For those who don't want to do the math, that's 2.5 HOURS of sitting in line! I didn't actually arrive until almost 8:30, but that was still a long time to wait.
I brought my knitting, though, so that occupied my hands, while I intermittently chatted with people. :) They also brought some cards, Tim brought his Game Boy Advance, and Kim bought a sketchbook at Target, so I wasn't the only one with timewasting activities in tow. And, we got incredibly choice seats as a reward for our patience. No nosebleed seats or neck-craning for us!
So, Return of the King was very gratifying for me. Gwaaaaa. :D
( A few thoughts, shouldn't be any specific spoilers )
ANYWAY, my errands today went well, although I didn't make it to the Rec today for lifting, because I loaned
junsiew my little 13-inch TV, and wound up spending a good 1.5 hours hanging around and talking at her temporary room in Bean. It's pretty quiet in there with a mere 5 kids left in the East side of the building, so maybe I should drop in more often over the break.
I fixed my crash-happy Illustrator install today. All it took was a Windows Update. Feeling a little silly now.
To do tomorrow: pick up Kinko's order, call webhost about e-mail server problems, knitknitknit. And freelance, of course.
