I'm so tired ;_;

Wushu was good yesterday, although all I really did before leaving was warmup/stretch and practice 10-step. I think wushu is pretty ideal for me, as martial arts go--they let you wear shoes, and they don't make you hit people. ::rotfl:: I don't like the idea of being pounded on, and bare feet = yick.

The best part was, I went straight from wushu to numfar and polysciguy's to watch Slashville, and I managed to arrive just *after* the scary Clark/Lana nudity scene! Some things are definitely better left unseen. :D

Anyway, today I need to go pick up some fabric and hopefully a mandarin collared shirt pattern for mein costumery. I will probably get some cheap Keds for use in wushu and the costume, too, if I can find any for my monster feet. I also need to make some flash cards and study for the midterm I have tomorrow. And then there's work, of course. It never ends. :p

I think I really need to decompress. I CRAVE SLEEP. I think I'm going to go home and take a nap after class.

It's MOLE DAY! Or rather, it was when I first nabbed that link. Now, not so much, but man, I love all these nerdy pseudo-holidays. :D

In other news, I now have a holy pantload of satin for my costume top. I wanted something a bit thicker, like crepe-back satin, but all the crepe-back they had at JoAnn was in completely the wrong color for this project. There was just one shade of blue, and it *might* have worked, but I found a better one amongst the cheaper satin. In retrospect, I probably should have checked at Factory Fabrics. D'oh! ;p Oh well, it's just a Halloween costume that I'll only wear a few times, so color takes a bit more precedence over fabric type.

Apparently cheap Keds do not exist in this universe, or at least not in Gateway Mall. All the Keds I saw today were a minimum of $25 and not nearly flexible enough, and I couldn't find any cheapo brands that would work, either. All I want is some cheapo shoes like these, but without the $7 shipping charge. (seriously, paying more for the shipping than the shoes? That's plain stupid.)

I had a wonderful nap this afternoon. Considering I still have this stupid cold, it's probably good for me to get a bit of extra rest right now.

I don't have anything of note to say that I can think of, so I'm out.
