I did *yet* another paid psych experiment earlier, and thanks to that, my car is now sparkly clean and has much gas in it. :D W00t! Gas seems to last me a long time when I'm just bopping around Eugene and not taking it on any longer trips.

I got a call back about my sewing machine earlier today--we talked on the phone yesterday, and they said that the bobbin case was so badly scratched up and grooved that they couldn't buff it down enough to keep the thread from catching on it. So, they have to order a new one, which costs SIXTY-FIVE FREAKING DOLLARS. And it won't even show up for like 3 weeks, because it's out of stock, so they have to back-order one. Can you detect my annoyance?? I know you can.

Now I'm kind of hoping that I can still get David to pay the repair bill, since he did cause the sewing machine to break in the first place. Of course, that happened like 2 years ago, but none of us have done anything with it since it broke.

Blaaahhh. I need to study some 日本語 this weekend. A lot of knowledge can seep out of your consciousness in the course of one summer. How bloody annoying.

And, I'm off.

So, this is probably a longshot, but does anyone know anything about doing taxes for a home business or for contract work? I've been doing an awful lot of freelancing this year, and I'm starting to bring in enough that I should probably report it all. I don't really own a business, though, because it's just me working from home on a contract basis.

This would still mean including deductions like the cost of my internet connection, etc. I, of course, have no idea how this works, because I have never needed to fill out anything for taxes besides a 1040-EZ.

Maybe I should just go see an accountant sometime.
