Aug. 23rd, 2003 06:40 pmI still haven't managed to find a copy of Big O ep 16, which I missed last week because our VCR ate the hell out of the tape about 10 minutes into the show. This is highly irksome. numfar's tape might get eaten. And then, I got the work schedule for the next week and a half, and I'm working the next two Sundays, so that means that, with a VCR that eats tapes constantly, I'll miss Big O eps 17 and 18. And then, I realized that homey-C had gone to the video store today and rented tapes, and I'm sure *they* wouldn't be happy if one of *their* tapes was eaten.
So I made a pact with myself not to spend more than $50 on a VCR, and went out in search one. :D After looking in 4 different stores, I settled on one that was $39, which is better than I expected to do, so I'm feeling happy, and I no longer have to fear the VCR munching more tapes.
Saturdays are so blah when a) everyone's RPing, and b) you haven't much in the way of money. Not that there's anywhere that I'd really want to go to by myself anyway, but whatever. I guess I'll spend it making money.
