Okay, seriously, people who don't live in this building, or do not plan to live in this building within the next couple months, should NOT park in our parking lot! I just came back from work, and I had nowhere to put my car except for the manager's parking spot! So, I had to park there and leave a note for said manager, so he knows to come pester me if he needs the car moved. Hell if I'm going to park a brand new 2004 Corolla on the fscking street!

Methinks I'm a tad overprotective of this car. I guess that's not so bad, if it means I'll take good care of it. :) Yes, make the paranoia work *for* you. ::rotfl::

So, tonight we opted for a lovely group dinner, complete with fire! ::laughs:: It was perfectly safe fire on the grill in the alley behind rkelly's, though, so no worries. polysciguy and James made awesome food. I am starting to think that I must make a big feast sometime soon (i.e. when I have money), because the boys seem to do all the cooking, as of late. I can cook, too, damnit! I just don't always have the energy for it. :)

Work was cake--it was Sunday, and that should be explanation enough. I'm getting tired of arriving at work only to find that none of us have keys to the building, though. I haven't heard about when I get to pick up my own set of keys, yet, so I guess I'm stuck for now.

I did a wee bit of coding today, and it's coming out awesome. I'll be doing a ton tomorrow, because I planned out a lot of new features in my head for the resource db. I love being able to implement these things as I think of them. :D

Ugh, bad day. Well, more like annoying day, but whatever.

Right, so I hauled 6 big bags of cans down to Safeway, so I could recycle them and get the deposit money for them. I was happily feeding cans into the machine, when it suddenly stopped accepting cans, because the machine was full. The other machine was in use, so I toddled off all quicklike to ask a store employee if they would empty the machine I'd been using.

After doing that, I walk back out to the can machines, just in time to see this smelly, skeevy-looking guy, who was bogarting the other can machine, physically REACH INTO MY CART, and put one of MY cans into the machine for himself! At this point, I put on my stern voice and told him to get away from my cans, and he just slinked away without saying a word. Yes, only in Eugene.

Sometimes, I really hate this town. :p

Anyway, I came back and attempted to post a quick update to The Negotiator, because the new episodes are airing soon, and when I try to upload the new main page, it tells me that my disk quota is exceeded. So, I clean out some unneccesary files, and it says it's STILL exceeded. What the hell?

Oh, crackers, and now some retard telemarketer just called me, but all I could hear was mumbling and the occasional vowel sound, because her phone connection was so crappy. GOD. I am super-annoyed.

I guess that's it for now.

Right, so, you know those people who solicited me a few months ago about an internship, and whom I never really heard from again since early April?

Apparently, they now have a small project that they'd like to send my way. Hoo! I didn't really expect to hear from them after all this time. I'm getting a lot of resume-buffing opportunities these days.

It's too bad none of them seem to be paying opportunities, though, because I'm going to be terribly broke for the month of August. But eh, if it leads to better job opportunities down the line, then I can't complain. :D

Currently, I'm coding again. Code, code, codecodecode. Wee! I have the usual meeting tomorrow morning, so I'm trying to get a few more things working by then.

LOL, this song makes me think of Boss-chan, especially after she played it on the car ride down to Y-Con, last time I went. Where are you, Boss-chan?? ;_;
