So, yesterday I worked on some designing and read more PHP docs, and then I got a headache. I hope the allergy meds my parents sent will get here soon. Anyway, I read for a while, and finally got to part IV in the Mists of Avalon. I was up until 5a reading. The nighttime hours are way, way too nice, especially now that the weather is heading towards hot and miserable again.

Today, I may or may not work. I wound up spending a lot of time on PHP stupf on Sunday night, so I'm counting that towards my 12 hours this week. Besides, there's a DDS staff barbecue tonight, so I figure I'll make an appearance. I'm not sure how it's going to turn out, and I'm not exactly in a partying mood today, but eh, I'll either get blindingly drunk and giggly, or I'll go home early. Whatever.

On a more cheerful note, I have a *fantastic* idea for a new shirt that I can construct out of this frumpy sweater I have that happens to be made with a really cool knit fabric. Just have to get off my bum and go put it into action!

Random news bit: Supreme Court strikes down Texas sodomy law. Sounds good to me--discrimination is BAD. We should know this by now. ;p And besides, even if you're not into those kind of acts, the gov't really shouldn't be regulating what people do behind closed doors, no matter what your sexual orientation may be. Woo!

And! I'm spent.

Come next payday, I am *so* buying a set.

Sadly, it's starting to look like my party plans may be derailed, because, my, er, aunt is visiting. My meds haven't done much to help with the pains yet, and the BBQ is supposed to start in a little over an hour.

Oh well, more onion dip for me. :D

(DISCLAIMER: In an effort to use my vocabulary, and keep from forgetting all my Japanese *again*, I'm going to try and write a post each week in Japanese, about as much normal stuff as I can. I know some of my friends know way more Japanese than I do, and I also know that I still suck at casual form, so feel free to point out any glaring errors. I only just finished 2nd year, and I probably write like a 1st year, though, so go easy! ^^;;)

今日の天気はとても暑い、ね？　時々、夏がちょっと嫌いよ。明日の天気も暑いらしい。いやあ～！でも、新しいソファーがあるだから、私は嬉しいよ。二つスリップカーバーもある、茶色のが一番好きだよ。

おなかが痛いだから、DDSのパーティーに行かない。ちょっと大変、ね？がっかりしている。

Tunak tunak tun!

Dude, I just made the Japanese language support work on the Mac!　やった！ Apparently there's an installer on the MacOS CD that will put a bunch of languages on. I don't know why I didn't think of that before now.

Right now, there's this Dolly Parton video on the TV that *totally* reminds me of Daler Mendhi's Tunak Tunak video! There are multiple Dolly Partons dancing and singing to each other in brightly-colored outfits, just as there were multiple Daler Mendhis dancing and singing to each other in brightly-colored outfits with matching turbans. It's kind of freaking me out. ::rasldfkasdlfhasdkl::

IT'S TOO HOT IN HERE. And I'm trying to figure out what we're having for dinner, but nobody quite seems as into the idea as I am right now. Cooking just for myself isn't nearly as fun as cooking for others!
