"I'm waiting. I can wait all day if I have to."

In spite of the fact that I got maybe 2.5 hours of sleep, I'm pretty bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. :) I helped move things this morning, and now I'm pretending to be all 1337 and setting up junsiew's network connection. It seems like it's working, so w00t! We still have to track down the new Duckware CD, though, or just download all the equivalent apps, because there's a lot of stuff on there that will probably never get used.

And dang, she has a cute computer. It's speedy and it has a DVD-R/RW, and it comes with a flatscreen monitor, and everything's all colour-coordinated! ;_; And her mom gave me $20 and said "you should get a haircut." I'm starting to feel like freakin' Oliver Twist with how broke I am. ;p

I am 10000x excited otherwise, though. Classes on Monday, and my first shift at the new job on Saturday. Finally, I have things to do and places to go. The monotony of summer was really starting to grate on me.

Anyways, I'm going to end this here and get back to helping out. :)

Just when I thought I was going to have a quiet evening at home, I got talked into romping around and going over to polysciguy's place with everybody to watch CSI. It was a neat episode, and we got food at Wendy's beforehand, and I got to ride around in the infamous PT Cruiser for the first time. Weeee!

I am now thoroughly tired out, and my feet are in definite need of rest. Between the outing tonight and traipsing about with junsiew during the day, I did a TON of walking. At least I don't have to feel bad about not having time to go to the gym today. :)

Tomorrow is an empty day, except for a trip to DPS to turn in my old work keys and get my deposit back. I completely forgot about the deposit until today, when I was cutting through box tape with my old keys. I'll also get a haircut this weekend, since I'll actually have cash. Hooray for unexpected money sources!
