Fly-by-night

Tonight was a little unpredictable, if you couldn't tell. Dan and Amber came up mid-way through CSI and they were bored, so we hung around for a few minutes, and then eventually made a snap decision to go see K-Pax. BUT, we couldn't remember which theater had the late showing, so we just kinda picked one and prayed. And lo, we chose poorly, so we opted to see Spy Game instead.

So yeah, Spy Game was a decent flick, pretty interesting... I guess I liked the general feel of how they put it together. But oh MAN, Robert Redford is getting crusty. I mean HOLY CRAP. It's like they keep trying to market him as a hot leading man when he should by all rights be getting the wizened old grandpa roles. He looks older than MY grandpa, for chrissake. :p

And all the music to go with the exotic locales made me a bit loopy... which means that now it's time for a DALER MEHNDI BINGE! :O!!!! Well hey, at least it won't give me insane mood swings like my Depeche Mode binges do. ;p

Mrrf. I think I'll go eat some pie. :D

Today's a Depeche Mode day, for no other reason than because I feel like being angsty. ::goes crazy::

I got an e-mail today about the Foreign Language and International Studies Day that's happening in April, and they were asking for people to help present different international-type stuff. So, because I'm crazy, I immediately replied, offering to do a presentation about J-rock and/or visual kei. ::rotfmadslfkahsdfk::

So, assuming I end up actually for-real doing this, it occurs to me that I might want to have some visuals, like tour videos or PVs or something. Alyson? Maya? Anybody wanna mail me something? I have blank videotapes out the yang that I could send your way... ^^;;;;;

And speaking of obligations, I'd better pay the bills today, lest they get mad and throw me out on the street. But then, I already paid rent, so they'd just be turning off our creature comforts. ::shrug::
