Hee hee hee

So I went to the store earlier to buy many, many groceries before the car is taken away from me, and Safeway is completely out of Noxzema! So I had to go all the way out to Fred Meyer to get it. The good news: 1) I got it for cheaper than I would have at Safeway or Albertson's, and 2) while at Freddie's, I got Office Space for $7! Hardcore! For a movie that good, it's one hell of a bargain.

Now James is "napping" and not waking up (I don't envy Zach and Felicia for the next two weeks, cos they'll be waking him at 7am every day, and he's *impossible* to wake up) so I'm gonna do all his laundry for him while he's asleep. He did so much cleaning around the house that I feel it's totally fair for me to do that in return. ^_^

D00d!

I'm watching SNL reruns on Comedy Central and the musical guest for this one is Timbuk-3! :D They're neat. :D The lead guy needs to comb his hair. (not that he'd be the first musician with bad hair, but ya know.)

So yeah, I'm still working on the laundry. The last loads should be done in about 10 mins, and then all I have to do is fold.

Tomorrow: get up early, borrow car one last time to get pop and toilet paper, see everyone off, maybe go back to sleep for a couple hours, then put in 4-5 hours at the office, and help Dan move his and Felicia's stuff in downstairs. (at least I won't have to go up any stairs for this one! ;p)

Fire BAAAADDD!

Another ep of SNL is on. I love the older episodes. :D

Is anyone else really disturbed by the new Snapple commercial with the guy hot-tubbing with two piece of fruit? I mean, I've heard all that fluff about food being erotic, but that's just *wrong*, man.

Still folding clothes. I should be done soon.

Amendment: Will somebody please tell me how an entire term of A's on *everything in the class* equates to a B+?! Because where I come from, IT DOESN'T! >_<

Soooooo

After getting done folding clothes at around 3:30am, and then not being able to settle down enough for sleep until 5:30am, I was pretty much scr00ed. James was muttering a lot in his sleep, and he woke up with a tummyache (he's been getting them a lot lately... we think it's stress-related) and decided to get up at 6:45. And whaddya know, I'm up along with him. ::rotfl::

I suppose this is a good thing though, because staying up all night is probably the best thing I can do for my sleep schedule. SO, I guess I'll try my best to slog through a few work hours today, and call it good.

Cue waterworks

So everybody's gone on the trip now. I stayed composed in front of everybody, but lost it once they pulled out and drove away. My tear ducts are sorely underused because I'm just not a crying person, so it seems like, for the few times I actually *get* misty-eyed these days, it's a billion-dollar production. I guess there are a lot more tears to pump out at once when you don't do it as often.

And the beat goes on... I'm going to shower and then go to work for a few hours, and then probably help out Dan.

Two mistakes

Mistakes made when leaving the house for work today:

1) not taking allergy pills.
2) forgetting to bring water bottle.
3) not taking a nap.

Resultant condition: dry, congested, and tired. Not a good combo. But, at least the rest of my mood is improving.

Da bux!

So I went and sold some more books today, and I got a nice sum for the art history book. I also unloaded a computer book that I didn't want (it was only for a class, and the O'Reilly guide I have is *so* much better) for a few bucks, which is nice.

I'm thinking about bailing out on work soon, so I can take a nap for a couple hours before Steely!Dan starts moving stuff. I normally wouldn't be so adamant about being a beast of burden, but half the people we know are gone, and he has to move *two* people's stuff, not just his own. And that sucks a whole dang lot. I just hope I don't end up sleeping all afternoon by accident.

I noticed the other day that michiru.com is down, and I also noticed today that Utena.net is down too! Mara, do you have the 411 on the status of Utena.net?? If you need money, I can send some when I get paid at the end of this month! ;_;

I took a short nap and have been watching TV for quite a while now. I should probably think about eating. Nora left me an ICQ while I was out fromt, but I don't think I'm gonna answer, because I'm sooooo tired right now and I would be an even worse conversationalist than I usually am. Sawry N, tomorrow night perhaps? :)

I'm not sure if Dan ever got moved in or not... I don't think he came by to get me or anything, but then again, I could easily have slept through any knocking on the door. Anyways, he made it sound like a two-day effort, so hopefully he'll pop in tomorrow or something, and I can help out then.
