Foof!

Tonight turned out differently than expected, but that's cool. I went to Felicia's and we all watched Mutiny on the Bounty. We agreed it was pretty darn cheesy in some parts. ::lol:: We decided to institute an addition to our rating system, in which we select a kind of cheese that we think represents how cheesy the movie was.

After the movie was the unexpected part, because the 5 of us (me, Fel, Sarah, Steely!Dan, and Avery) sat around talking for like 3 hours afterwards. I kind of feel like the ladies dominated the conversation though. Dan likes to listen, and Avery had only just met 2 of the 4 of us. And of course there's the fact that we're *GIRLS*. Once you get a gaggle of girls started, it's hard to stop. ::lol:: Anyways, I feel 100 times more girly now, which is great, because I've had this inexplicable sense of butch-ness lately. ::lol:: I guess living with two guys can certainly push you towards the testosteroney side of things, even if they might claim to be really femmy guys.

I whipped up a late dinner after leaving Felicia's and picking up James from Zach's, and then I made the mistake of starting up HMM2 again while I was waiting for the pasta to boil. Hence, why I'm still awake. I need to go to bed, stat.

Okay, now I know I've had a (minor) hand in sucking quite a few people onto the LJ bandwagon, and you gotta agree, it's a faboo service and a great way to keep up with your friends. :) It far outshines Blogger and other web log services in its full-featured-ness and its sense of community.

I'm trying to help someone set up a web site on the jcomm server, but I think something went crazee security-wise because nothing will load, even though everything appears to be publicly viewable. The hell? Oh well, Dan's on it now, at least.

So normally I'd be going home in 10 minutes, but I'm not today. I have more time to spend here, don'tcha know. I must prevent being po'.

I'm finally home, after working late, and then locking myself out of my office long after everyone was gone. I took a quick trip to the bathroom, and then when I came back and reached for my keys, they weren't there. I had to go to the EMU to find a phone that was both accessible and free so I could call public safety. Sho was in the lab working when I went there to use the phone, and he asked what was up, so I lamented about my problem briefly, and then ran off to Allen so I'd get there in time for the public safety guy. So yeah, I'm brilliant. ::lmao:: I'm just glad they were able to let me into the office.

I should really think about eating. I just dunno what I want, exactly. ^^; Maybe Cory has some ideas...
