Class this morning

I arrived a little late, but we had a "guest speaker" who was actually my Tools I prof last term. He showed a bunch of cool 3-D computer animation projects that he'd done, and it was a fun little presentation. Cool beans. :) He also seems to be kind of anti-Pixar, but I guess we can all deal. ^_-

I'm tired... I'm mostly back to normal health-wise, but my energy levels are still recovering. I want a nap. And I *really* don't like taking naps, if that tells you how exhausted I am.

I have a bright, happy orange sitting on my desk saying "eeeeeat meeeeee!" Ah, who am I to deny such a fine request? :D

My credit card is going to expire in a few months, and I got a letter in the mail for a Platinum card today, which has the same grace period *and* a lower interest rate than my current card. SO, I think it's time to make the switch, j0!

Time to go to the bank and deposit a check, and then drive around down looking for some kind of sculpture or monument to do my Art History paper on. Blecch.

Back!

I'm back from errands and stuff. I've decided to do the pointy modern art sculpture outside of PLC for my paper... I already have at least one strong comparison in mind that I can write about, so I think I'm going to do okay on this paper. I just need to figure out what the comparison sculpture is called, and who sculpted it, so I'll have to page through chapters in the book until I find it. :p

I don't think I'm going to make it to the pseudo-bachelorette party tonight at Shannon's, which is pretty lame. BUT I just plain have too much to do tonight, and I have to prioritize... school and work comes before partying. And the 4 hours of driving (round trip) that I'd have to do probably doesn't help the party's case any.

Anyways, I'm off to do what I must do.

This eve

I found the sculpture I was hoping to cite, and found a couple other candidates by the same artist. Go me! :D The paper is looking good so far, I think I will finish it up tomorrow after Linguistics, though. It's getting late, and I'd like to get a good night's sleep.

As for the rest of the night, I made a semi-quick dinner of this funky tortilla casserole that was pretty cool, along with some beans, and I cooked up a couple of spicy chicken breasts with cheese sauce for the boys. I have to remember not to eat refried beans while I'm sick though, b/c the sticky feeling in my mouth afterwards is no fun at all. I also had a nice break and watched CSI with the guys. That is a *very* cool show.

I am officially tuckered out, methinks. I probably won't go to bed now, but soon. Very soon.
