So Windows 2000 didn't like the DDR mat... so, since I've been meaning to do it for a while anyway, I reformatted the HD on Shecky and installed Win98. Methinks there are few people who would be both interested in a middle-of-the-road machine *and* want Win2k installed on it.

I'm at work now. Survey was pretty uneventful, but I got some much needed info on the paper I'm supposed to write later this week. It should be a fun paper... I have a lot of ideas on where to seek out resources. The *real* problem is cramming them into 2-3 pages of paper. Oh well, it's better than having nothing to say on the topic at all.

I didn't get to test out my DDR mat much last night, but I'm hoping to do so this evening. It seems to work well, but the game emulator that came with it is a bit lacking. All the extra functions on the mat like slowing down and speeding up the song are too easy to trigger mid-song, especially with my battleship feet! ^_- I may just have to tweak with Diet Diet Revolution 99 and use that instead, because the controls are simpler, and there are more songs available on it anyway.
I need to figure out a Big Eyes, Small Mouth adventure, stat. x_x

"(Reuters) - A divided Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that police may arrest individuals for minor traffic or other misdemeanor offenses punishable only by a fine, such as unbuckled seat belts or public littering. The high court, by a 5-4 vote, declared the Constitution's Fourth Amendment, which bans unreasonable arrests and searches, does not prevent the police from making such arrests without a warrant."

As Xplo so succinctly put it: Welcome to the machine. -_-;

I made some grilled sandwiches and now I'm making french fries. It's mainly for James, b/c he hasn't eaten. I spoiled my dinner earlier because David bought me a chicken burrito at Taco Bell... but I think they gave me the wrong one, because the one they gave me was like twice as big as I remembered! I couldn't even *finish* it. x_x

Buffy was good. Angel was good. I was *very* pleased that Buffy acknowledged what Spike did for her in a positive manner! And I'm also glad to see shades of Sassy!Angel, like he was back in Season 1. (well, from the few taped eps I've *seen* of Season 1 anyway) All good stuffs.

I'm probably going to finish watching a movie, and do some research for my Survey paper before bed tonight. Not too terrible.
