(no subject)

I'm up and about, kind of. I've been hacking away on my multimedia portfolio, which I was planning on doing last night, before I got sick. I still feel like crap today, but at least I can walk around some now without causing myself an endless string of aches, pains, and general grumpiness.

The portfolio's supposed to be in today at 5. x_x I hope I get done in time.

I'm SO DAMNED TIRED, but I got the portfolio in! It wasn't *quite* as cool as it would have been had I not been near death yesterday, because I didn't really have time to include everything that I wanted to, but I got it done, and I think that what's there is pretty representative of all the pains I've gone to over the years to learn web design and other emerging technologies. As long as they can tell I put effort into it, there's no reason for them not to accept me.

I got to work half an hour ago and it has been very peaceful. There's pretty much nothing for me to do even though I was gone for a day and a half. This still means that I get to put in a long day tomorrow, though, because I need the hours. I'm sure I can find *something* to kill a few hours on.

I should probably stop typing now because my eyes are starting to get lazy and they're actually out of focus right now. I am amazed that I can type as well as I am. SO TIRED. ;_;

Wow, it seems like, all of a sudden, a whole ton of my net pals are joining LJ. Awww yea. In the past month or so, there's been Jess, Kristine, Mara, Amer, Suze, Wednesday, Cheryl, Kate, and now Malloreigh. Woo hoo hoo! This makes me so happy! Especially since I'm so seldom on ICQ for more than 10 minutes these days. Damn school and work and crap getting in the way. ^_-

Home now. Very tired. Riding home through the cold and rain pretty much finished me off for the day. x_x

Survivor is on in a bit. Whee! Relaxing is good.

Survivor was freaky tonight. Those were some *very* nasty burns that Mike had... it sucks that he had to leave, b/c he seemed like a strong player. I don't know how strong he was as far as the voting goes, but he actually seemed to have at least a vague idea of what he was doing out there.

I feel icky again, and kind of hot. I hope I'm not getting worse again, because I really don't want to miss Art History twice in one week.
