Ca c'est fini!

Got my layout idea to work more easily than I thought I would! :D I'm feeling very cool about that. I'm gonna go read for Art History now, even though I feel like going to bed. I really wish I had Tools 1 first instead of Tools 2, because I'd be totally okay with skipping Tools 1 for sake of sleep. I'm already pretty lethal with Photoshop, and that's all they're going over tomorrow. But I really want to be there for Tools 2, because I'm rather limited with Flash. Bugger. Anyhoo, off to reading.

Lack of sleep and sore bums. :p

I fell asleep in Tools I again this morning... which isn't a big deal really, because they were going over basic Photoshop functions, all of which I'm very familiar with. I just feel kinda guilty about it, cos it's disrespectful to the instructor. ^^;; But then again, it's not *my* fault that I have to get up at 6:30am. That's all the fault of whoever scheduled Tools II so friggin early. ;p

I now, as expected, have an incredibly sore bum from sitting in the friggin' hard wood chairs for three hours. ARGH. Maybe one day they'll make it like PLC with the nice, cushy, movie-theater-style chairs. Or maybe I'll just continue to suffer for 9 more weeks. ::rotfl:: Oh well.

Good things about today: I have a *very* tasty Asiago Chicken Caesar sub from Subway sitting on my desk, waiting to be eaten. Ahhhhh, lunch is good. :D :D :D And I get to sing this afternoon. Choir is going to much fun, and it looks like the director has chosen some really challenging music, especially considering that the Women's Choir is regarded as an entry-level group, so most of the people there don't have much singing experience. But it'll be fun for me, at least. :D ALTOS RAWK!! >:D

I'm done with work for the day in about 5 minutes... then I go to choir, go make a loan payment, and then go home, and probably go to the gym. Easy cheesy. :D Tonight will be nice and relaxing.

Who the hell?

The phone just rang, and when I picked up, it was a request for a collect call from "Colleen"... and when I thought about if I even remotely knew anybody named Colleen, the only Colleen I could think of was that little dork from Survivor. ::rotflmao:: Sad, sad, sad.

Tomorrow is Friday. I have one class. LIFE IS GOOD! Too bad it's art history... which means more darkness and more slides. Behehehee. :p

Being poor sucks :p

I want a copy of Adobe Illustrator to play with, because it'll produce vector-based stuff... which means that I can make *much* cooler things with Flash, without using giant-size raster images. BUT, seeing that it's made by Adobe, I can only come to the conclusion that it costs like $500. Sure, that's cheap for a corporation, but for a broke college kid like me, it's the whole friggin' world. Bah. I want some money. ;_;

I'm really tired all of a sudden... definitely too tired to do much of consequence. But I'm forcing myself to work on CC4 anyway because I'm nuts. At least it's easier than writing content for Henteko.

More bad news

Oh yeah, forgot to mention earlier... but apparently our choir is being screwed out of like 3 weeks of rehearsal this term because the music school nazis are making us hold our concert in week 7 instead of week 10. That wouldn't bother me in the least, except that, to make up for the lost rehearsals, we have to go to one extra hour-long meeting every week. There are 2 that you can go to, but I have art history during the nice and friendly Friday 1PM time slot... so I have to go at 8AM on MONDAY. >_< ARGH! As if Tuesday and Thursday weren't bad enough!

Answer: in mah bellay! >:D Seriously, Cory made his "orgasmic" (as Alicia put it) steaks this evening for dinner, and it was good. I'm feeling less tired and achy now, but I'll probably still hit the sack early. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll get up early and read for art history. Ha, fat chance! :p But I did some of it last night, and I've got two weeks to do this first batch of readings, so it's okay.

Enough prattle! I must go and watch Three's Company reruns and then go to bed. I'm such a creature of habit. :D
