Busy, but GOOD.
Nov. 17th, 2000 09:49 pmToday was busy busy busy. I went to work for a while, and had lunch at Subway. I've gotten myself down to just eating the 6-inch sub instead of the footlong, which is a good thing. Footlongs put a bigger dent in my wallet, and they're probably worse for my dietary habits.
I left work early today to go to the podiatrist. He said things looked okay so far, but I have to go back *again* next Wednesday. I am starting to wonder how much this is going to cost me... oh well, at least I know he's keeping good watch on the condition of my foot. And I get paid in a couple weeks too, at that.
I also had to go to the Gaming Club meeting tonight, and that was okay. I am starting to remember why I don't like meeting nights... because I always end up with tons more crap to do post-meeting. Sheeshy... I wish I either didn't have to do as much, or got more credit for doing lots of stuff. But hey, I get another resume-worthy web project out of the bargain, so I can't complain too much.
Good news is, we rescheduled the Scavenger Hunt spearheaded by Anna and myself! I'm glad we'll get to try again, cos we put too much effort in to just give up just because we're gamer chicks and forget about stupid football games. I hate sports events. They also make it impossible to park anywhere within a mile of the frickin' Rec Center, and walking or biking is insane because if I did that, then I'd have no nose by the time I got there.
Despite all the stuff going on, I have felt pretty relaxed. I spent some time poking around at SSR and it's interesting... kinda like baiting.org, where it's kinda fun to read about, but I doubt I'd actually join in. That's the uber-nice side of me at work I guess. ^_-
The Anime Board has been the most entertaining thing that I regularly visit, as of late... Brunching Shuttlecocks isn't updating as much, and people are actually talking on the AB for once. I also must give props to X Entertainment... they praise cool movies that I like, and they make fun of ridiculously cheesy and weak comics that try to convert you to Christianity.
I'm gonna play the Sims now, cos I'm an addict, and this is getting way too long anyway.
