A yob! A yob! And too much design HW. :p
Jun. 22nd, 2000 06:45 pmWent out to get paper plates and to look for jobs. I got about 12 hours at Carson Dining basically just by walking in and saying "hey, I need some work". I know I swore to myself not to do food service, and it *is* kind of a shit job, but hey, it's better than being broke! So it'll do nicely to pad my wallet for a while, as I keep looking for other jobs and doing interviews and such. Besides, it's only 12 hours, and I reportedly get free food. (according to Dynee anyway) It kinda tempts me to cancel the meal plan, but we'll see.
I'm really getting annoyed with Basic Design. I have to mount some coloured paper squares and make it look nice, do a "mood" painting using colours that I think fit the mood, AND do another thing with the coloured paper bits and mount them on other paper squares so that the same colour looks like two different colours. And the instructor seems to enjoy avoiding making any good comments about my assignments. Maybe it's cos I'm still listed as a CIS major, which basically translates to "Non-Artist". Bah, I hate that crap.
