Sad times

Applying for jobs is usually at least medium-awful, and wrapped up in upsetting and draining circumstances. But this time around, it feels really, really awful.

I'm not sure anything has broken my heart as badly as this. Boy-related hurt doesn't even compare to how I feel right now.

I hate looking for work. Trying to sell yourself to something that might be soul crushing is really rough. I have been slowly applying to things for the past few months and it's never fun. Best of luck to you.

I'm applying for design jobs because my business isn't covering my bills. It has $1700+ worth of open invoices, half of them are overdue, and nobody seems interested in paying.

The part that's crushing me is that I'm opening up to full-time contracts and jobs, and it feels like giving up.

Sigh... it is hard running a business. My family had a similar situation when we had a florist shop when I was younger.

Even if you take something on full time you can always back down from that to less time/flexibility. It's not giving up :)
