Well, my cleaned-up diet and slower lifestyle hasn't done a lot for shoring up my pathetic immune system (srsly. Where are my bionic antibodies?), but at least I've managed to lose a good 6 or 7 pounds in the past few weeks, and when I've actually been healthy, I've been noticeably more productive. It's also gotten much, much easier to pass up sugary dessert things, or be satisfied with just a taste of one.
So, yeah. My brains are getting back in order, and I can sort of see my abs again! WIN.
Anyhoo, I spent all of yesterday at home and in bed, watching the latter half of the first (and only) season of Caprica. Today, I am back to work, but not back to working out, so no private skate lesson for me today.
I'm also NSOing (NSO = Non-Skating Official) at an actual bout for the first time ever tonight. I've been wanting to get NSO-trained for months now, but there've been very, very few opportunities to get trained, so I've been through exactly one hour of training, thus far. They're short-handed enough that they're willing to on-the-job train me on a position that's supposedly super-easy, though. I seriously hope I don't screw this up.
It's a damned good thing I'm not all hopped-up on cold meds right now. XD
