Twice in one day?!

YES. It hasn't happened in many moons, but I do this now because of league scrimmage tonight. I was brain-dead for much of the day, and almost considered not going, but I did. So on one of my first turns jamming, the other jammer had already gotten out, but I wanted to catch up, so I went up to squeeze through on the inside line.

Another skater started to close the gap, and then BAM. I totally jumped the apex and got past her.

And then I got knocked around a lot in the next couple of jams, and stupidly forgot that I had lead jammer the first time I did get it, but, still. JUMPED. THE. APEX. There were team skaters watching and everything. I didn't even know I could DO that.

Does this mean I get my Superheroes' Club membership card now? :D

Heh, erm, that is to say, I jumped the apex of the turn, rather than trying to skate through and letting the blocker push me out of bounds.

That's what I thought, but I was imagining a larger curve and a more dramatic leap.
